Chopped Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 tbsp (1 1/4 sticks) butter, softened
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 None eggs
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup milk
    3/4 cup chopped candied fruit
    1/4 cup sliced almonds
    2 tsp powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a 12 x 9-inch baking pan. Line bottom and long sides with parchment paper, extending paper 2 inches over sides.
    Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in combined sifted flours and milk. Spread in prepared pan. Drop tablespoons of candied fruit over batter. Using the back of a spoon, swirl fruit through batter. Sprinkle top with nuts.
    Bake for 20 mins. Dust with sifted powdered sugar before cutting into bars. Serve warm or at room temperature.
