Strawberry Cheesecake - cooking recipe

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup self-rising flour
7 tbsp butter, chopped
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground almonds

1 1/2 lb cream cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 None large eggs
2/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
9 oz strawberries, hulled, chopped, plus extra sliced to decorate

Preparation

To make the tart base, sift flour into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar and almonds. Gradually mix in enough water to form a pliable dough (about 1/4 cup) then wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 mins.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease an 8 inch springform pan. Roll out pastry dough then use to line pan, trimming edges. Chill for 10 mins. Prick base with a fork then line with parchment paper and fill with baking beans. Blind bake for 10 mins. Remove paper and beans and let cool.
To make the filling, beat cream cheese and sugar together until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in cream and flour until smooth then fold in chopped strawberries. Transfer to prepared tart shell and bake for 50-55 mins, until set. Let cool completely.
Decorate with sliced strawberries and serve with ice cream.
