Lamb Fritters With Spicy Yogurt - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp ground cumin
1 cup plain yogurt
1 None egg
2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
5 oz pumpkin or butternut squash flesh, grated
2 None green onions, finely chopped
10 oz leftover roast lamb, coarsely chopped
None None Vegetable oil, for shallow-frying
Preparation

Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Toast cumin, stirring, until fragrant.
Combine yogurt with half the cumin in small bowl.
Combine egg, flour, buttermilk and remaining cumin in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin, onions and lamb .
Heat oil in same pan on medium heat. Shallow-fry 1/4 cup batter for each fritter, in batches, until fritters are browned lightly. Drain on paper towels. Serve fritters with yogurt.
