Deviled Sausages - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp olive oil
    8 links sausage
    1 None onion, halved, sliced
    1 None pear, cored, sliced
    1/4 cup ketchup
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp curry powder
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 cup raisins
    None None fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish
    None None couscous and seasonal greens, to serve
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook sausages for 4-5 mins, until browned. Add onion and pear. Cook for 2 mins. Drain off any excess oil.
    Meanwhile, whisk together ketchup, cornstarch, Worcestershire sauce, spices, brown sugar and 2 cups water. Add to frying pan along with raisins. Cover and simmer for 8-10 mins, stirring occasionally, until sausages are cooked through and sauce thickens.
    Serve sausages over couscous. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with seasonal greens.
