Sparkling Vanilla Raspberry Juice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 lbs frozen raspberries, just thawed
    1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 None vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
    4 cups club soda, chilled
Preparation
    Place raspberries, orange juice, sugar and vanilla seeds in a large saucepan on low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 mins, or until it thickens into a syrup. Remove from heat. Set aside for 30 mins to cool.
    Pour syrup through fine sieve into a bowl, pressing down slightly with back of spoon.
    Pour into 5 glasses and top with club soda.
