Baked Pears With Blue Cheese And Walnuts - cooking recipe

2 None firm, ripe pears, peeled, cored, halved lengthwise
2 tbsp honey, warmed
3 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
4 None shortbread cookies, crushed
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup honey
2 oz creamy blue cheese, crumbled
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Place each pear half on a sheet of baking paper. Drizzle evenly with combined honey and butter. Gather ends of paper together to form a parcel, twisting to secure. Place on a baking tray and bake for 15 mins.
Add walnuts to tray. Bake for 2-3 mins, until nuts are toasted and pears are tender. In a small bowl, combine walnuts and cookies.
In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, cream, honey and blue cheese until smooth.
Unwrap parcels. Transfer pears to a serving plate. Top each with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle over walnuts and crushed cookies.
