Easy Currant Bun - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup flour
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup currants
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 1/4 cups buttermilk
    None None FOR THE ICING
    1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
    None None Pink food color
    1/3 cup flaked coconut
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0C. Lightly grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
    Sift flours, soda and salt into a large bowl. Stir in currants and sugar. Make a well in the center. Pour in buttermilk and mix quickly to a soft, sticky dough.
    Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently into a smooth, round ball. Place on prepared pan.
    Bake 25-30 mins, until bun sounds hollow when tapped. If browning too quickly, cover with foil. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; completely on wire rack.
    For the icing, combine powdered sugar and 1 tbsp hot water. Add a few drops of food color, mixing well. Drizzle over bun. Sprinkle with coconut.
