Caramel Meringue Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 None small tart shells
    1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
    1 1/2 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp dark corn syrup
    2 None egg whites
    2 tbsp granulated sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Arrange tart shells on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 mins, until lightly browned.
    Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter and corn syrup. Stir over low heat for 4-5 mins, until slightly thickened. Transfer to tart shells and bake for 10-12 mins, or until golden. Remove from oven and increase temperature to 400\u00b0F.
    Whip egg whites to soft peaks, gradually adding sugar, until thick and glossy. Use to decorate tarts then bake for 5-8 mins, or until golden. Cool slightly before serving.
