Blackberry Crème Caramel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 cups 2% or whole milk
    1 cup heavy cream
    1 None vanilla bean, halved lengthwise, seeds removed
    1 cup granulated sugar
    7 oz blackberries
    5 None eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0F. Place milk, cream, vanilla bean and seeds in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let steep.
    Meanwhile, caramelize 1/2 cup sugar then transfer to 8 ramekins. Top with blackberries.
    Add eggs and remaining sugar to vanilla mixture and whisk until creamy. Remove vanilla bean then pour into ramekins. Place in a roasting pan and pour warm water into the pan halfway up sides of ramekins. Bake for 30 mins. Allow to cool and chill until ready to serve.
