Autumn Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb fresh fava beans, shelled
    1 1/4 lbs fresh green beans, sliced into 2 inch pieces
    4 tbsp butter or margarine
    3 tbsp flour
    2 1/2 cups milk
    4 oz Gorgonzola cheese, chopped coarsely
    4 None chicken breasts
    1 tbsp sunflower oil
    1 14 oz can pear halves in juice, drained and halved again
    1/2 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F.
    Cook the fava beans in boiling salted water for about 10 mins, adding the green beans after 5 mins. Drain and set aside. Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 mins. Add the milk while stirring, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-5 mins. Stir in the Gorgonzola cheese, and season to taste. Stir in the beans and pears.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken for about 4 mins on each side. Put the chicken into a greased baking dish and add the bean and cheese sauce, top with the shredded Gouda. Bake for about 20 mins. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp and crumble over the casserole before serving.
