Meatball Pizza Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef or pork
    1 None medium egg
    2 None small onions, finely diced
    1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    2 tsp smoked paprika
    2-3 tbsp sunflower oil
    1/4 lb bacon, chopped
    2 lbs Savoy cabbage, trimmed and thinly sliced
    8 oz prepared salsa
    1 1/2 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp flour
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup vegetable stock
    1/4 lb mozzarella, grated
    16 oz package pizza dough
    1 None bread slice, toasted
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. For the meatballs, soak the toast in a bowl of cold water for 1-2 mins. Mix the meat, egg, half the onion, mustard, paprika and soaked toast together in a bowl then knead with your hands until fully combined. Form 12 meatballs from the mixture. Heat some of the oil in a frying pan then fry the meatballs in batches for 5-6 mins, turning and adding more oil as necessary. Set aside.
    In a separate frying pan, fry the bacon for 3-4 mins. Add the remaining onion and saute for 4-5 mins, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, mix the cabbage, salsa and nutmeg together in a bowl and season. Stir in the bacon mixture.
    For the Bechamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan then stir in the flour. Gradually whisk in the milk and stock then simmer, stirring, for 3-5 mins until thickened.
    Grease a baking dish. Roll out the pizza dough then place in the baking dish and trim away any excess from the edges. Spread the cabbage mixture on the pizza dough, top with meatballs then add the bechamel sauce. Sprinkle with cheese then bake for 20-30 mins until the crust is golden.
