Ground Beef And Onion Pot Pie With Cheese Crust - cooking recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
6 tbsp butter
1/2 cup milk
1/4 lb Cheddar cheese, grated
2 None small onions, thinly sliced
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb cabbage, thinly sliced
2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Combine flour, baking powder, 4 tbsp butter, milk, 1/2 tsp salt and cheese then knead with your hands. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 15-20 mins.
Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp butter in a large frying pan and saute onions for 2-3 mins, stirring. Add ground beef and saute for 3-4 mins. Add cabbage and continue to cook for 1-2 mins. Add Worcestershire sauce and season. Transfer to a baking dish and set aside.
Roll out dough on a lightly floured work surface to 2/3 inch thick. Cut out 2 inch discs and cover ground beef mixture. Bake for 15 mins. Remove from oven and serve.
