Turkey And Beans With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb fresh green beans
    5.25 oz brown or long-grain rice
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 lb turkey breast, cut into strips
    1 None medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, peeled and finely chopped
    5 None medium tomatoes, chopped
    1 - 13.5 oz can navy beans, drained
    4 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves stripped from stems
Preparation
    Cook fresh beans in boiling salted water for 10-15 mins. Drain and rinse under cold water. Cook rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain.
    Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan and sear turkey, turning, for 5 mins. Add onion, garlic, tomatoes, canned beans and thyme and heat through. Season then add fresh green beans. Serve with rice.
