Meatballs In Saffron Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
2 oz basmati rice, washed, rinsed, drained
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1 None onion, very finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp ground chili
1/2 tsp saffron threads
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 None lemon, juiced
None None steamed couscous, to serve
None None lemon wedges, to serve
Preparation

Combine ground beef, rice, garlic, cinnamon and cumin. Season. With wet hands, shape mixture into small meatballs. Chill for 10 mins.
Bring onion, oil, chili, saffron and 5 cups water to a boil. Add meatballs, cover and simmer for 30 mins. Stir in parsley and lemon juice. Serve with couscous and lemon wedges.
