Raisin Loaf - cooking recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup raisins
1 None large egg
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 cup milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease 1 large or 2 small loaf pans and line bases with parchment paper.
Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a large bowl. Stir in sugar and raisins. Whisk together egg, maple syrup and milk then mix into dry ingredients until just combined. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 1 hour for large pan or 25 mins for small pans, or until golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool briefly in pan then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container. Serve thinly sliced and buttered.
