Beef And Bacon Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 slices bacon, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 cup stale breadcrumbs
1 None egg
1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp barbecue sauce
Preparation

Cook the bacon and onion in a medium skillet, stirring, until the onion softens. Remove from the heat. Cool slightly.
Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and barbecue sauce, and bacon mixture in a large bowl. Shape into 8 patties.
Cook the patties in the same oiled pan, in batches, until cooked through. Serve with gravy and combined mashed potato and shredded cabbage, if desired.
