Asparagus And Fava Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz asparagus, trimmed and halved lengthwise
    1 lb frozen fava beans (or fresh if available)
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1 tsp sugar
    2 tbsp finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
    1 pkg (16 oz) spring mix salad greens
    1 cup pecans, toasted
Preparation
    Boil, blanch or steam asparagus until just tender; drain.
    Pour boiling water over fava beans; drain well. Remove and discard white skins.
    For the dressing, whisk lemon juice, oil, sugar and herbs in a medium bowl. Season to taste.
    On a large serving platter or bowl, arrange salad greens, asparagus and fava beans. Drizzle with dressing; top with pecans.
