Long Fig Bruschetta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz dried figs, thinly sliced
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 None baguettes, about 12 inches each
1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
8.75 oz cream cheese
2 tbsp dill, chopped
5 oz arugula
Preparation

Place figs, vinegar and sugar in a medium sized glass or ceramic bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cut each baguette lengthwise into 5 slices. Preheat a grill pan on medium heat. Brush both sides of bread slices with oil. Add bread to grill; cook and turn for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
Combine cream cheese and dill in a medium bowl. Spread cheese mixture over bread slices. Top with fig mixture, then arugula. Season to taste and serve.
