Victoria Sandwich - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup granulated sugar
4 None eggs
2 1/4 cups self-rising flour, sifted
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp strawberry jam
None None powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease 2 deep 8 inch cake pans and line bases with baking paper.
In a stand mixer, beat butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and milk, in 2 batches. Transfer to prepared pans and bake for 30 mins. Transfer cakes to a wire rack to cool.
Join cooled cakes together using jam. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
