Penne With Green Beans, Mushrooms, And Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz green beans
    8 slices bacon
    5-6 tbsp olive oil
    10 oz chanterelle mushrooms
    2 None onions, peeled and finely diced
    10 sprigs thyme
    10 oz penne
Preparation
    Cook the green beans in boiling salted water for about 18 mins. Crisp the bacon in a frying pan, drain fat, and cut into pieces. Heat the oil in a large pan and saute the mushrooms and onions while stirring. Add the thyme.
    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Reserving 2/3 cup of pasta water, drain the pasta. Pour reserved pasta water into the pan with the mushrooms and bring to a boil. Drain the beans and add them to the mushrooms along with the pasta and bacon. Heat briefly and serve, garnished with thyme.
