Asparagus And Beans With Garlic Butter - cooking recipe

6 tbsp (3/4 stick) butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 lb asparagus, trimmed
1 lb baby green beans
Preparation

Combine the butter, garlic and parsley in a bowl and mix well.
Boil, steam or microwave the asparagus and green beans, separately, until just tender. Drain.
Return the asparagus and beans to the pan. Add the butter mixture and toss until melted. Season to taste.
