Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs ripe peaches, halved, stone removed, sliced
    2 tbsp orange juice
    2 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1 cup self-rising flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    3 tbsp cold butter, chopped
    1/2 cup cold milk
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease a 7 cup baking dish. Toss peaches with orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamon; arrange over base of prepared dish. Bake for 15 mins or until bubbling and hot.
    Meanwhile, sift the flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Rub in butter to make fine crumbs. Make a well in center; add milk, egg and vanilla. Using a round-bladed knife, cut through the mixture until it forms a soft dough, adding 1-2 tbsp more milk, if needed. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead briefly until smooth.
    Shape dough into 12 balls. Place balls over hot fruit mixture. Bake cobbler for 25-30 mins or until topping is golden.
