Plum Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 None slices white bread, quartered
    2 tbsp butter
    3 tbsp plum jam
    2 (12 oz) cans evaporated milk
    3 large eggs
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    None None whipped cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease a 6-cup ovenproof dish.
    Spread each slice of bread with butter, then jam. Place in prepared dish, slightly overlapping.
    In a bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Pour over bread. Set aside for 10 minutes until some of the mixture has soaked into the bread.
    Place dish in a large baking pan. Pour in enough boiling water to come halfway up sides of dish.
    Bake for 25-30 minutes until custard is just set when tested. Cool for 5 minutes before serving with whipped cream.
