Beef Skewers With Toasted Pita Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 None garlic cloves, chopped
1/3 cup olive oil
1 heaped tsp sweet paprika
1 3/4 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
4 None onions, cut into chunks
1/2 None red bell pepper, deseeded and cut into chunks
1/2 None yellow bell pepper, deseeded and cut into chunks
1/2 None green bell pepper, deseeded and cut into chunks
4 None pita breads, cut in half
1 cup tzatziki
None None parsley, to garnish (optional)
Preparation

Mix together the garlic, oil and paprika and season with salt and pepper. Toss the meat in the garlic oil and leave to marinate while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
Thread the meat, onions and peppers alternating on to 8 skewers. Place under a hot broiler and cook, turning, for 6-8 mins, turning regularly and sprinkling with more of the marinade as needed. Lightly toast the pita bread. Serve the skewers on plates with the tzatziki. Garnish with parsley if desired.
