Cherry And Chocolate Heart-Shaped Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    100 g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
    85 g dried cherries, coarsely chopped
    1 None orange, zested
    150 ml buttermilk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    200 g flour
    80 g cornflour
    35 g muscovado sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    125 g chilled butter, diced
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda with a pinch of salt. Add sugar. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add vanilla extract and buttermilk. Add chocolate and cherries then bring together to form a dough with your hands. It should be quite dry.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Roll out dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 2/3 inch. Using a 3 1/2 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 8 hearts. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for about 15 mins until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack, then serve.
