Healthy Turkey Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tbsp oil
1 None carrot, peeled and cut into thin strips
3 None spring onions, cut into rings
1/2 None red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 lb ground turkey
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped coarsely
4 slices Gouda cheese
1 None avocado, halved, peeled, pitted and sliced
2 tsp lemon juice
4 None hamburger buns
4 tbsp ketchup
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 None tomatoes, sliced
2 1/2 cups arugula
1/2 head small lettuce
None None cherry tomatoes and celery, to garnish
Preparation

Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and saute the carrots, spring onion and pepper for about 4 mins over medium heat. Add the curry powder and season to taste. Set aside to cool.
Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Mix the ground turkey with the cooked vegetables, breadcrumbs and cilantro then make 4 flat burgers. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and cook the burgers for about 4 mins on each side. Put a slice of cheese on each burger then place them on a baking sheet. Bake for about 5 mins.
To serve, drizzle the avocado with lemon juice. Spread the bottom half of the hamburger buns with ketchup and mayonnaise. Top them with tomatoes, arugula, lettuce, turkey burgers and avocado and finish with the top halves of the bun. Serve the turkey burgers with cherry tomatoes and celery.
