Chicken Pot Pie With Cheesy Mashed Potato Topping - cooking recipe

2 tsp vegetable oil
1 None medium Spanish onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 lb ground chicken
1 None medium carrot, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, trimmed, finely chopped
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
5 oz button mushrooms, quartered
4 oz frozen peas
43 oz prepared mashed potatoes
1.5 oz Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F.
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook onion and chicken, stirring, until browned. Add carrot and celery. Cook, stirring, until soft. Add flour then gradually stir in stock, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Cook, stirring, until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in peas and season.
Transfer to a large baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake for 30 mins, or until browned and heated through.
