Pork Schnitzel With Pear Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None pork leg steaks (about 3.5 oz each)
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour, seasoned
    1 None large egg, lightly whisked
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    12 oz cabbage, finely shredded
    2 None pears, quartered, cored, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Place the pork steaks between sheets of parchment paper and pound to flatten. Place the flour, egg and breadcrumbs in 3 separate shallow bowls. Dip the pork in flour to coat, then the egg, then the breadcrumbs.
    Heat the oil in a frying pan over moderate heat. Add the pork and cook for 5 mins or until golden and cooked through.
    Whisk the mayonnaise and lemon juice in a bowl. Add the cabbage, pear and pecans and toss to combine. Serve the pork with the pear coleslaw on the side.
