Roasted Garlic Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 None oven-ready chicken (about 2 3/4 lbs)
    1 None lemon, cut into wedges
    2 bulbs garlic, broken into cloves
    2 oz fresh sage, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in a roasting pan. Add 1 cup of water and roast for 25 mins, or until done, basting occasionally.
    Scatter the lemon and garlic around the chicken and add 2/3 cup of water. Roast for 20 mins, basting occasionally. Sprinkle over the sage and roast for 10 mins, or until the juices run clear and chicken is cooked through.
