Braised Cannellini Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup chicken stock
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
3 None star anise
1 strip orange peel
2 cans (15 oz each) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
Preparation

Bring chicken stock, brown sugar, oyster sauce, ginger, star anise and orange peel to boil in a large saucepan on high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 mins, until reduced by half and syrupy.
Stir in beans and simmer for 15 mins. Season to taste and serve.
