Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 tbsp butter
    1/2 lb onions, peeled and sliced into rings
    1/2 cup white wine
    3 cups vegetable stock
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
    1/2 cup Gouda, grated
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a saucepan and cook the onions until translucent. Add the wine, stock and cumin and simmer for 15 mins. Season with salt and white pepper and stir in the parsley. Sprinkle in the cheese and serve.
