1 3/4 cups flour
5 oz dried cranberries, finely chopped
1/3 cup ground almonds
1/2 cup sugar
16 tbsp butter, diced
1/3 cup flaked almonds
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. In a bowl, mix the flour, cranberries, ground almonds and sugar. Add the butter and knead into a smooth dough. Press gently and evenly into the prepared pan. Prick all over with a fork and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Bake 35 mins, or until a skewer comes out clean. Cool, then cut with a sharp knife into 32 bars. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container.
