Shell Pasta With Salami And Olives - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (13.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes
    13.25 oz large pasta shells
    8.75 oz soppressata salami, chopped
    5.25 oz pimento-stuffed green olives in chili oil, chopped
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, heat oil over high heat. Cook onion for 4-5 mins, until tender and golden. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 mins. Season.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
    Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over high heat. Saute salami for 4-5 mins, until crisp. Add pasta, tomato sauce and olives and toss to combine. Serve.
