Beef Patties With Beet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 clove garlic, rushed
    1 tbsp ground cumin
    1 can (16 oz) whole beets, drained and sliced
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    6 None green onions, thinly sliced
    2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1/3 cup low fat cottage cheese
Preparation
    Combine the ground beef, garlic and cumin in a large bowl. Shape into 8 even-sized patties.
    Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Spray with no stick cooking spray. Cook the patties for 5 mins each side or until cooked through.
    Meanwhile, combine the beets, parsley, onion and vinegar in a medium bowl.
    Serve the patties with salad and a dollop of cheese.
