Fruity Almond Pistachio Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, chopped
    2 tsp grated lemon peel
    5 oz vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
    1/2 cup red glace cherries, chopped
    1/2 cup glace figs, chopped
    1/2 cup glace peaches, chopped
    3/4 cup flaked coconut
    1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp almonds, toasted and chopped
    1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp pistachios, toasted and chopped
    4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    4 tbsp (1/2 stick) butter, melted
Preparation
    Grease and line a 12 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
    Place condensed milk, chopped butter and lemon peel in large saucepan on medium heat. Stir until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add cookie crumbs, fruit, coconut and 1/3 cup each almonds and pistachios; mix well.
    Press mixture evenly into prepared pan. Spread with combined chocolate and melted butter. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tbsp each almonds and pistachios. Refrigerate until set.
