Mixed Bean Salad With Leeks And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 oz green beans, trimmed
    7 oz yellow beans, trimmed
    2 cups frozen fava beans
    7 oz sugar snap peas, trimmed
    1 tbsp oil
    1 None small leek, thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic, sliced
    2 tbsp flaked almonds
Preparation
    Blanch all beans and sugar snap peas in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 2 minutes (or longer if you liked the beans softer). Plunge into iced water, then drain. Remove and discard fava bean skins.
    Heat oil in a wok on high. Stir-fry leek, garlic and almonds for 3 mins, until soft. Add beans and sugar snaps and stir-fry gently for 1-2 mins, until heated through.
