Nutty Granola Protein Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4.5 oz hazelnuts
    4.5 oz almonds
    2.5 oz raisins
    2.5 oz dried apricots
    2.5 oz dried figs
    2.5 oz prunes
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    2 cups dry oatmeal
    2/3 cup whole wheat flour
    2 None medium eggs
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup honey
Preparation
    Finely grind half the hazelnuts and half the almonds in a food processor and finely chop the rest. Either chop or process the fruit until all the pieces are small. In a bowl, mix the nuts, dried fruits, cinnamon, ginger, oatmeal and flour.
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Crack the eggs into a bowl, and slowly add the sugar, beating until creamy. Add the honey and mix well. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients.
    Line a 6 x 9 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Spoon the mixture onto the pan and smooth with the back of a metal teaspoon. Bake for about 25 minutes, until lightly browned and firm. Remove and while still warm, cut into 12 pieces. Allow to cool in pan.
