Hazelnut Ganache Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None eggs
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    2 tsp cornstarch
    1 tsp butter
    1/4 cup ground hazelnuts
    None None Ganache
    6.5 oz dark chocolate, broken
    1/2 cup heavy cream, plus extra, whipped, to serve
    None None cocoa powder, to dust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a 7x11 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
    Whisk eggs until frothy. Gradually add sugar and beat until thick and pale and mixture holds its shape (this can take up to 5 mins). Sift flour and cornstarch over top then gently fold in. Combine 2 tbsp boiling water and butter then fold in. Fold in hazelnuts. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 15-20 mins, until cake springs back when touched lightly. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
    Meanwhile, to make the ganache, combine chocolate and cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on HIGH (100%) for 1-2 mins, stirring twice, until combined. Let cool, whisking occasionally, until thick and spreadable.
    Halve cake horizontally. Spread ganache over bottom layer then top with remaining layer. Cut into 10 pieces. Dust with cocoa powder. Serve with whipped cream.
