Spaghetti Seafood Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz clams
    4 oz spaghetti
    2 tbsp olive oil
6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
4 None baby octopus, cleaned and halved
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 cup white wine
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    1 tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation
Soak clams in a bowl of water to remove sand and grit. Keep changing water until water is clear.
Cook spaghetti in a saucepan of boiling, salted water according to package directions. Drain well.
Meanwhile, heat half the oil in a large skillet on high heat. Cook shrimp 2-3 mins until they change color. Transfer to a large bowl. Cook octopus in same pan 2-3 mins until just cooked (do not overcook). Transfer to bowl with shrimp.
Heat remaining oil in same pan on high heat. Saute onion and garlic 3-4 mins until tender. Stir in wine and cook 1-2 mins, stirring, until reduced by half. Stir in tomatoes and simmer 5 mins. Add clams and cook, covered, 2-3 mins until clams open. Discard any that do not.
Return all seafood to skillet with pasta. Toss well. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
