Cherry Tomato Linguine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz linguine
    1 lb cherry tomatoes, cut into wedges
    2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    3 tbsp fresh basil, a little reserved for garnish, remainder chopped
    6 tbsp olive oil
    7 oz Parmesan cheese, shaved
Preparation
    Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Meanwhile, mix tomatoes, garlic, basil and oil and season. Drain pasta then toss with tomato mixture and cheese. Serve garnished with basil.
