French Onion Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 None refrigerated pie crust
    2 tbsp olive oil
    3 tbsp butter
    1 1/3 lbs onions, thinly sliced
    1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
    1 1/4 cups light cream
    3 None eggs
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Cheddar cheese, or a combination of both
    None None Microgreens, for garnish (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease a deep 10-inch quiche pan. Roll out the pie crust and press into the pan. Line with parchment paper and pie weights. Bake for 10-12 mins, until pastry is cooked but still light in color.
    Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet on medium-low heat. Cook the onions, stirring, until tender, light brown and beginning to caramelize. Stir in the thyme leaves. Set aside.
    Whisk the cream and eggs in a large bowl and season. Stir in the cheese. Spread onion mixture in the crust. Pour the egg mixture on top.
    Bake for 30 to 35 mins, until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature. Garnish with microgreens, if desired.
