Banana Split - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
    1 1/4 cups heavy cream
    1/2 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    4 medium ripe bananas
    8 scoops vanilla ice cream, to serve
    1/2 cup mini marshmallows, to serve
Preparation
    Combine chocolate, 1/2 cup of the cream, sugar and vanilla extract in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (do not let base of bowl touch water). Stir for 2-3 mins, or until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove bowl from heat.
    Beat remaining 3/4 cup cream in medium bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
    Peel bananas and slice in half lengthwise. Arrange bananas in serving dishes. Top with ice cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream and marshmallows. Serve at once.
