Pepperoni, Olive And Roasted Red Pepper Pasta - cooking recipe

14 oz rotini pasta
3 oz sliced pepperoni
2 cups prepared tomato pasta sauce
1 jar (12 oz) roasted red peppers, drained and cut into strips
1/4 cup black olives
1/4 cup torn basil leaves
Preparation

Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to the package directions. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet on medium heat. Cook pepperoni for 1-2 mins, until crisp. Drain on paper towels, then break into pieces. Set aside.
Add the pasta sauce, peppers and olives to the same skillet on medium heat. Cook for 2-3 mins, until heated through.
Add pasta to sauce with basil. Toss to combine and season to taste. Serve topped with pepperoni.
