    1 small onion, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    8 oz ground beef
    2 tsp flour
1/4 cup beef or vegetable stock
3/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn and carrot)
2 tbsp chopped cilantro, plus additional leaves, to serve
    2 tsp garam masala
4 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
None None Oil, for deep frying
    None None FOR THE RAITA
    1 cup plain yogurt
1 None mini cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
    2 tbsp chopped cilantro
None None Olive oil, to drizzle
Preparation
Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Cook onion and garlic 4-5 mins, until golden.
Add ground beef and brown well, breaking up lumps as it cooks. Sprinkle with flour; cook, stirring, 1 min. Add stock; bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 mins. Stir in vegetables, cilantro and garam masala. Season.
Using a 3-inch cutter, cut 9 rounds from each pastry sheet. Place a heaping teaspoon of meat mixture in the center of each. Brush edges with water. Fold in half to enclose filling. Pinch pastry to seal and form a scalloped edge.
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet on high heat, until a little pastry sizzles as soon as it is added.
Deep-fry samosas in 4 batches, 2-3 mins each, turning, until pastry is puffed and golden. Drain on paper towel.
For the raita, combine yogurt, cucumber and cilantro in a small bowl. Drizzle with olive oil.
Serve samosas sprinkled with cilantro leaves and accompanied with raita.
