Steak Alla Pizzaiola - cooking recipe

1-2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped finely
6 tbsp olive oil
1/2 None orange, zested
4 None thin steaks (each about 4 oz), cut in half
1 None onion, peeled and finely diced
1-1 1/2 tsp tomato paste
2 cups canned chopped tomatoes
1 pinch paprika
4 oz black olives, pitted
2 stems rosemary, halved
1 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
4 slices bread
Preparation

Mix 4 tbsp of oil with the garlic and orange zest. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet and sear the steak for 1 1/2 mins, turning once, season. Remove them from the pan.
Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Saute the onions in the cooking fat, add the tomato paste and cook briefly. Add in the tomatoes and the paprika. Bring to a boil, simmer for 2-3 mins and stir in the olives.
Put 2 pieces of steak and some tomato sauce into 4 small oven proof serving dishes. Sprinkle them with cheese and put a piece of rosemary on each. Place them on a baking sheet along with the 4 slices of bread. Spread each slice evenly with the garlic oil and bake everything for 5 to 7 mins.
