Roasted Oranges With Ginger Crumble - cooking recipe

4 None large oranges, peeled, halved crosswise
1 tbsp finely chopped glace (candied) ginger
7 1/2 tbsp butter, chilled, finely chopped
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
2/3 cup sliced almonds
None None whipped cream, to serve
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Place oranges, cut-side up, on prepared tray. Top with candied ginger then dot with 1 1/2 tbsp butter. Bake for 10 mins.
Meanwhile, combine flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in remaining butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in almonds. Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly over oranges. Bake for 15 mins, or until golden brown and oranges just soften. Serve with any roasting juices and whipped cream.
