Banana Loaf With Walnut Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, at room temperature, chopped
    2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    2 None eggs, lightly beaten
    2 None very ripe bananas, mashed
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1 tbsp milk
    2 cups self-rising flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    None None FOR THE WALNUT BUTTER
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, softened
    2 tbsp maple syrup
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
    Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Mix banana, sour cream and milk in a medium bowl. Fold in sifted combined flour and baking soda alternating with banana mixture in 2 batches. Spoon into prepared pan.
    Bake 55-60 mins, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
    For the walnut butter, beat butter and maple syrup in medium bowl, until creamy. Stir in walnuts. Serve cake sliced, with walnut butter.
