Irish Pan-Fried Shredded Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 cup vegetable oil (or olive oil)
1 1/2 cups yellow onions, diced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 -3 baking potatoes, peeled and grated
salt and pepper
Preparation

Squeeze any water out of the grated potatoes and place on a paper towel.
Heat the oil and unsalted butter and cook the onions until they start to clarify.
Spread the potatoes over the top and mix slightly. Cook until they are brown on the bottom.
Turn potatoes over and brown the other side.
Serve.
