Wild Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 ounce vsop cognac
    1 dash bitters (recipe calls for Peychaud's brand)
    1 teaspoon hibiscus syrup
    1 wild fresh hibiscus flowers (wild hibiscus flower called for)
    champagne, Chilled
Preparation
    Add the Cognac, bitters and hibiscus syrup to a Champagne flute and stir briefly to mix.
    Add the hibiscus flower and slowly fill the glass with chilled Champagne.
