Oatmeal-Lace Cookies (Havrekniplekaker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter (do not substitute)
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup milk

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful about 3 inches apart on a greased and floured cookie sheet.
Spread thinly.
Bake for 5-7 minutes and WATCH CAREFULLY!
Let stand a few minutes before removing from pan.
